An image without beauty rarely brings a moment's attention, and an image without substance is usually immediately forgotten.  My goal is to rivet your attention with something undeniably beautiful, and to hold that attention with substance.  

I revel in imperfections, especially today in the digital age when it's easier, more tempting, and more boring than ever to pretend the world is perfect.  I aim to leave my viewer with a chance to make up their own mind; to never feel "oversold."  

I control my environment and subject as much as necessary to create something beautiful, but I also allow real life room to bring happy accidents, surprises, and compelling moments.
